Havana, capital of the Caribbean Pearl, is dressed in fine gala style during the sixtieth Havana Festival.

A numerous variety of activities had developed during the event and between all the lights that shine brightly within the Cuban tobacco foundation. A luminous glow was lit at the Habana Libre Hotel, in the center of Vedado, in order to pay homage one more time to our Prima Ballerina Assoluta Alicia Alonso.

The Havana House of the prestigious hotel, at the direction of Habanos S.A, received a lovely humidor, that was acquired at the Emperatriz Arabesque, to salute the seventieth anniversary of the debut of Alonso in the Ballet Giselle.

Among the personalities that shared this moment, was Hirochi Robaina, grandson of the king of tobacco, Don Alejandro Robaina. Also present, was the renowned artist Zaida Del Rio, who shared a few minutes with Alicia Alonso.

The Chinese press, including Mr. Liu Guofeng, from the city of Putian, gave the ballerina of Cuba and of the world a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Various acts were performed by glamorous models, musical groups and a student of the Nacional Cuban Ballet who took part in the artistic portion of this marvelous cocktail. This was in addition to the spiritual flavor of Cuban rum, delicious spirals of smoke and all the marvel of estela de matices, to give this spectacular night of the 27th of February 2014, in the height of the Havana Festival, an unforgettable gathering among aromas, colors, and dance.
